Quote from Bose321 :Yes, because tanks use a console controller to drive and aim etc.

Also, if you're that fond of the inferior controls, why don't you plug in a controller? You wouldn't stand a chance though.

It is musch closer to console controller than mouse now. All I tried to say, aiming on console in WoT will be just fine.

And I don't play WoT now, waves of noobs and plasma guns with twisted gameplay does no fun to me anymore.

Quote from Crashgate3 :At least now they'll have a use for the autoaim.

Good luck hitting anything at all without it, using a stupid little thumbstick.

Atleast it will be a step towards realism, because real tanks don't use computer mouse for aiming.

People play GTA on consoles somehow, it will be no different.

WoT is cooming to Xbox360 soon, hope they'll get a proper engine and make a proper game now :-)

Quote from KiRmelius :Thanks. The filter was changed recently, so I don't think it is the case, unless some bad quality diesel clogged it. It actually idles nicely, but when driving the car trembles and lacks power until I let it gain some revs. I'll try replacing the injectors in first place, as the car is 21 year old and I doubt they've been ever changed, so it's time to do that anyway. The increase in performance should be more than noticeable.

Before you'll start to spend cash, just try filling up with a fuel from a good known fuel station.

I don't know how is the quality of fuel is controlled in your country, but in here it's awful.

A friend of mine had a mistake of fueling up his Subaru Impreza STi on a crappy station in the trip to the sea. Result - pistons burned through Went home with the car on the evacuator.

Quote from nikopdr :I really need to get new wheels.

Oh well, it still looks heaps better than the steelies, but damn, looks so comical with those off-road tires and such small wheels.

next up -> removing the headlight washers, moar low, fixing the front bumper, wax on, wax off

I'm driving on 13" 175/70 tires, its more about rim design IMO.

Quote from Crashgate3 :Yes I did. Flying for 10 minutes out to a target just to get immediately shot down the second you meet an enemy plane is not my idea of fun.

If they had the proper flight models with the Arcade battle types it would be great, but Historical Mode just winds me up in the same way Il-2 did - the hoops you have to jump through just to get a game with some other humans.

If you only had tried once, that mean you've got a wrong vision of the mode.
I had the same, I started playing HВ after 3rd or 4th try. It does take some time to get a grip, but it is worth it.

You didn't try Historic battle mode, did you?

No respawns, no aim marker, no reload midair, realistic flight model instead of UFOs from arcade mode. Just skill. Shooting down 4 planes with YaK-9 which only has 30 rounds is far more thrilling than any battle in WoT I've had.

Warthunder showed me how stupid some of the arcade aspects of WoT look like. And they will have tanks released quite soon. If the situation with tanks will be atleast a little alike as with planes (WoWP is plain awful), I think WG will have some butthurt :-)

PS: Still the worst thing about WoT are the players. I just have seen what WoT used to be before it got popular and tonns of idiots came into the game. Its a pain to see that you teammates have less than 46% WR (XVM mode can show you teammates stats ingame during battle) and they just ruin the match. Tbh, I really doubt that you have that MUCH less in WoT than in WT.

For the ones who got tired of arcade nonsense like HP, bizzare visibility system there is a good opponent to Wargaming. It is called WarThunder. Its more sim biased, but still has an arcade mode, yet it is still biased to realism. It only has planes so far, but land vehicles will be added real soon.

I've tried WG's World of Warplanes and it is a total disaster compared to WT.

I stopped logging in WoT after I installed WarThunder. Worth a try.

My car has no ABS and rear wheels can be locked locked from a reasonably light hit on the brake pedal, but I can hardly remember the time I locked wheels under braking because I tend to let the car in front further than it is required. It is better for me to have some **** dive into my lane in front of me than having no distance and drive twitchy

Quote from -NightFly- :I'm not living on the mostly part of the eastern europe then , pretty easy to get licence banned over here also speed cameras are woking as they are meant to be...
what the hell is the point of the camera if it doesn't count ?

They should work automatically, in theory. In practice due to poor level of mentality, there will be plenty fake bills for nothing. They used to work for some time but then it was stopped until law will be able to handle it properly. For now there is a patrol car standing few km after the speed camera where policeman will stop the car that broke the speed limit. And only then the driver will be fined with the proof of speeding.

Traffic cops are corrupted as hell in our country and the break the law much more often then drivers do.

Quote from Jakg :The last video this guy did mentioned he'd has his license removed?

Not that I think it'd stop him...

The thing is, he won't get his licence banned. The law is pretty dumb in here, same thing with speed cameras, they're not working automatically.

In eastern Europe (mostly) you won't gen fined unless you are stopped by policeman. Only then a police officer can give you a ticket. You cannot receive a fine by mail, its illegal.

Videos like these cannot be an evidence in court. Pretty stupid...

Quote from Scrabby :Production error. 4 bar is actually not that much

Indeed. I used to have a funny situation. It was spring, rapid temperature increase from -10 to +15*C or so. I felt that my winter tires became too stiff and I felt every hole on the road with my back. I stopped to check pressure and it was 3 bar. The pressure has raised up 1,1 bar just because of warmer temperature.

Had some adventures with my '87 Lada 2108.

I had some free time, so I decided to clean the engine a bit as it was covered with oil+mud/dust. And I have even found some marking on the engine block under the mud. I used to think that I had a 1300cc engine (documents said that too) but it appeared that I have 1100cc engine.

Ok, I thought. I just want my car to drive me as cheap as possible. But I started digging the documentation about early models of my car and found something weird.

Originally, 1100cc models came with 4-speed gearbox, but I have 5-speed one Ok, they both fit, so it is possible.

But that answer started another question: 4-speed gearbox originally came with 4.11 final drive, 5-speed gearbox had 3.7 or 3.9.
What final drive I have is a question, but it seems the way to find out is to take the gearbox off. I hope it won't happen soon. But it might explain why my car is sort of calm and thirsty.

Should've expected that! And no, I'm not going to enter the Mile High Club either.

And I'm not really fussed about watching a movie on my Samsung Galaxy S plus .

I've been watching movies on a Galaxy Gio (3,2") just fine Galaxy S is big enough to watch movies, why not?

And a book is a good choice too

I had to go to the garage placed far from home, where nobody drives at such weather, but I did

Wasn't much of a problem to get out of there either.

Quote from Tinytacohead :Props on posting a winter pic of car that's actually got enough ground clearance to deal with snow etc!! (what is it? :o)

PS - I hope the picnic was in some sort of heated structure/not outdoors

IT's a LADA! +180cm clerance and studded tires and I can drive in deep snow with ease.

And it was an outdoor picnic, where would you find a heated structure in the forest? And it was only -3*C and we had lots hot tea and coffee while chicken was cooked on the fire. Hot meat in the frosty air tastes great.

My car is behind my sister and GF's mom.

The Tucson behind is my mother's car.

doesn't capture the sound well in this either, but the gate is much more high pitched, just sounds like rushing wind on the video o_\\

I was wondering for some time how did you hold the camera...

The only way I figured it had been done is probably this...

just joking
